Ann Gardner

Ann Gardner is a Seattle-based artist who uses simple shapes, texture, and color to explore the relationship between light and space, both visually and conceptually.  Her artwork has been shown in numerous exhibitions and venues around the country, and she has completed many site-specific commissions both public and private. Ann has received multiple honors, including the 2011 Rakow Commission from Corning Museum of Glass, two National Endowment for the Arts Awards, a Louis Comfort Tiffany Award, a Seattle Arts Commission Individual Artist Award, and an Urban Design Award from the City of Atlanta. Her work is held in many collections across the nation including; the National Museum of American Art in Washington D.C., the Seattle Art Museum, Microsoft Corporation.
