HGFA opens location in Greenwich, CT!

June 1, 2023

Heather Gaudio Fine Art announces a new location in Greenwich, CT, opening Summer 2023.

For over a decade, HGFA has served as a primary contemporary fine art destination for New Canaan, CT, and its surrounding communities. "We started out as a small operation on South Avenue before moving a couple of doors down to our current space. Over the years the gallery program, its roster of artists and client base has grown beyond expectations. We would not be here today were it not for the loyal following and support from our collectors, particularly those in the New Canaan community," states gallery Principal, Heather Gaudio.

Heather Gaudio Fine Art began as a one-room gallery space on South Avenue in New Canaan in 2011. Four years later, in need of a larger exhibition space, the gallery moved to its current location on the corner of Elm Street in downtown New Canaan. Over the next several years, the gallery cultivated its roster to feature artists from different locations in the United States and abroad. The client base also grew to private and corporate collectors from far-reaching regions in Europe, Latin America, Australia, and Asia. HGFA was also able to advance its footprint by participating in many notable art fairs, including ZONAMACO in Mexico City.  During the pandemic, when art fairs were on hiatus, HGFA opened PROJECTS, a temporary exhibition venue a few steps away from the main gallery. PROJECTS offered an opportunity to collaborate with other dealers and exhibit blue-chip contemporary masters, an alternative artist pool, as well as exhibit site-specific installations. "We are proud to have presented the community with diverse engaging experiences and acquisition opportunities."

The new location on 382 Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich, CT, will offer Heather Gaudio Fine Art a large exhibition floor plan with a cohesive operational space and on-site storage. The gallery expects to open its doors by late summer 2023.

"We look forward to continuing our spirt of growth by expanding the visibility of our artists and the gallery program to a wider audience. We will maintain our personalized client service relationships in New Canaan and beyond, core to the DNA of our organization, and are very excited about the new opportunities ahead," states Gaudio.
